Description of NKE High Resolution Processor

The Processor and HR Driver are recognized as the performance driver. This new Processor V3.7 is the result of a new development that allows an immediate grip with the expected performance. The main settings are now available directly on the Multigraphic.

This high-end pilot is associated with a central attitude for a reactive heading and to de-let the wind, that is to say correct the apparent wind created by the accelerations of the boat. By driving with a reactive and debrided real wind, the pilot "corrects" less, and therefore reduces bar movements. The boat is then less slowed down, consumption is reduced by more than 40%.

    • Consumption: 277 mA (3.3W under 3.3V)
    • Supply voltage range: 9-18 V
    • Dimensions: 200 x 110 x 60 mm
    • Sealing: IP67
    • Waterproof USB Type B connector
    • Topline1 for normal display and sensor (Binder620)
    • 2 NMEA inputs
The Processor HR, at the center of the nke architecture, is an embedded COMPUTER of very low consumption, light and robust. It performs the necessary calculations, as well as the interfacing between sensors, displays, actuators and on-board computing:

    • Accurate and reactive measurements of wind, surface and bottom speed, and attitude.
    • Fast data flows (high responsiveness of sensor measurements, autopilot actions, displays).
    • Improvement of the calculation of real wind by compensating the measurements of the aerial sensor, the dynamics of the mast and the boat, as well as by correction tables.
    • Datalogger (Black box cut for a world tour with sampling at 25Hz).
    • Measurement of the attitude of the hull and a rotating or spinning mast (angles, accelerations, turning speeds, magnetometric vector).
    • Improvement of the autopilot by improving the sensors (response time and noise reduction on wind measurement), adding new driving modes using fleeces.
    • Possible operation in geographical heading (Terrestrial magnetic model).
    • Sensor reliability management, autopilot modes toggle.
    • Exit Anti capsizing.
    • Compatible with Adrena, Expedition and Deckman performance software.
    • Scalability (upgradable by e-mail, customization of variables and displays, hardware extensions via USB, Ethernet or Wifi, etc.).
    • Burst mode: the pilot acts on the setpoint in case of gusts. When the wind speed decreases, he resumes his instructions. The set deviations according to the strength and angle of the wind are preset.
    • The surf mode for accelerations in the waves at the rack: the setpoint automatically adapts to follow the ideal track when gliding, as would an experienced helmsor (gliding without significantly lengthening his route). The result is "bluffing". The first to try it: Frederic Denis on the Mini Transat; Victorien and Thibault on their Class40 Solidaire in Peloton for the Transat Jacques Vabre.
