Ordering Information

Payment Options
We accept Visa, and MasterCard. We do not accept personal checks, money orders or cash.

Sales Tax
Although federal law doesn't require us to charge tax for items shipped across state lines, you may be personally required by your state to remit sales tax. However, if your delivery address is in South Carolina, our system will chargeyou 5% state sales tax (6% if you live in a county that has a local option sales tax).

How to Cancel or Change an Order
To make changes or to cancel your order send an e-mail to info@charlestonyachting.com

Order Processing Time
Every effort is made to ensure your order is processed and on its way to you within 24 to 48 hours of order. In the event there is an unforeseen delay, we will contact you via e-mail.

Credit Card is Declined
In most cases the reason for a transaction to be declined is because of:

  • The credit card number is incorrect; in other words typos
  • The expiration date is entered incorrectly

Products and Merchandise Availability

Generally, if an item is in stock, you can expect that the item will be shipped promptly (within 12 - 48 hours) after your order is placed.

Back Orders:
You will be notified via email when a portion of your order has been back-ordered
No extra shipping costs are charged for back-ordered items
Your credit card is never charged for an item until that item ships
If the item is time sensitive let us know and we will do our best to find the item through additional suppliers.


Product Warranties:

CharlestonYachting.com does not warranty the merchandise we sell. All warranties, either stated or implied, are the sole responsibility of the product's manufacturer. Because manufacturer's warranties vary from item to item, please refer to the documentation that accompanies your purchase for warranty details.


Exchanges & Returns

We want you to be completely satisfied with your Charleston Yachting purchases. However, in the event of a problem with your purchase, please adhere to the following guidelines for prompt exchange/credit service. If unsure about a product please contact us BEFORE ordering.

Clearance or Sale Items are only refundable if the wrong item was sent to you. Please double check with customer service if you have any questions prior to purchase.

Guidelines

Please keep all packing material and documentation that may be necessary for return. Most new items (unless otherwise noted) may be returned for a full refund (minus shipping charges) within 14 days of date of delivery, provided the items are returned freight pre-paid (in new, saleable condition)

Items may be returned for exchange or store credit within 30 days of date of delivery, provided items are returned freight pre-paid (in new, saleable condition) Please note our Product Warranty Policy for additional guidelines. Refunds to credit card accounts may take up to 30 Days after we receive the return

Four Steps to a Successful Return

Step 1: Send a Return Request

Send to: info@charlestonyachting.com with the following information:

  • Product information (name, manufacturer, etc.)
  • Date of Purchase
  • Reason your are returning the product
  • Your name and contact information (please note the best time of day to call.)

Step 2: Upon receipt of your return request, we will:

  • Contact you using the contact info that you provide
  • Make appropriate arrangements for credit or return
  • Issue any necessary RMA numbers for tracking purposes

Step 3: Prepare the Item(s) for Return

Write the following information on your original packing slip:

  • Write your RMA number as "RMA: xxxxxx"
  • Write "Credit" or "Exchange" according to the arrangements made in Step 2
  • Write a brief note describing the "Reason for Return"
  • Circle the item or items that are being returned

Step 4: Ship the Item(s) to a specified CharlestonYachting.com address

  • Re-package the return items, with packing slip, in the original packaging material
  • Send the Package US Postal Service, UPS or FedEx to the address of origin, specified by Charleston Yachting.
